A new car dealership will replace a longstanding tire shop on the outskirts of a Bucks County suburb.

The Fred Beans Family of Dealerships bought the 1.8-acre parcel at 857 N. Easton Road outside Doylestown from Bergey’s Auto Group with plans to build a 20K SF Ford truck center.
The buyer operates dozens of other dealerships and auto businesses across Southeast Pennsylvania, including several along Easton Road.
Colliers Senior Vice President Rich Weitzman coordinated the full transaction. A spokesperson for the brokerage declined to reveal a sale price.
Bergey’s previously operated a tire shop at the site, which spanned about 5K SF, according to county property records. The company bought the lot in 1979.
SALES
D&R Construction Inc. has purchased a 46,700 SF office building at 220 Commerce Drive in Fort Washington from Brookwood Financial Partners. Transwestern’s Brian Bernetich and Joe Viturello represented the buyer, and JLL represented the seller.
Transwestern, which declined to share the sale price, secured 13,500 SF worth of leases while the property was under contract, bringing the occupancy from 54% to 86%.

A Kest & York affiliate has purchased a 55K SF office building at 5 Capital Drive in Harrisburg from Five Capital Associates. The sale price was not disclosed.
A CBRE team including Steve Marzullo, Adam Silverman, Jeremy Shyk and David Sickler represented the seller. Financing for the buyer was secured by CBRE's Joanne Williams.
LEASES
Thackray Crane Rental has roughly doubled its footprint to 200K SF at 11200 Roosevelt Blvd. in Northeast Philadelphia. A Colliers team including Richard Gorodesky and Adam Gorodesky coordinated the transaction. Connecticut-based Brickman bought the 454K SF building for $33.4M in 2021.

Designblendz has inked a 10K SF office lease across two floors at the Steele Building on 11th and Ludlow streets in Center City, according to a social media post from CEO Brian Corcodilos. Construction is underway, and the design firm plans to move in during the fourth quarter.
MSC Managing Director Jacob Cooper helped the company secure the space in the building owned by Morningside Heights LLC.

Belluck Law, a New York firm known for mesothelioma- and asbestos-related litigation, has opened a new branch in Center City, the Philadelphia Business Journal reported. It is subletting about half of the space Shein Law holds on the 21st floor of 121 S. Broad St. The firm plans to sign its own lease when that contract expires next year.

Philadelphia-based Independence Realty Trust is merging with Centerspace to expand its portfolio by nearly 30% and create an $8.1B venture. IRT will gain 47 communities with more than 10,000 units across the Midwest and Mountain West.

The Greater Philadelphia Real Estate Hall of Fame has picked four charitable organizations to receive donations in honor of its 2026 inductees.
Recipients are the Cobbs Creek Foundation, which is leading the revitalization of a West Philly golf course; homelessness prevention nonprofit Project Home; the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center, which is focused on emotional well-being; and disability services organization Via of the Lehigh Valley.

Lincoln Property Co. has brought on Charles McGrath as its executive vice president of Pennsylvania to guide the group’s expansion in the state. He previously co-led the Philadelphia Capital Markets team at Newmark after spending time at Cushman & Wakefield and MRP Realty.
Lincoln is involved with just one project in the state, a 7K SF warehouse near Scranton that is listed for $950K, according to the firm’s website.
