Temple University has chosen AECOM and Moody Nolan as architects on its new football stadium project, projected to cost $126M.
Temple, which currently plays its home games at Lincoln Financial Field (home of the Philadelphia Eagles), has proposed a 35,000-seat facility on North Broad Street, with a mind to both bring its games closer to its students and revitalize the surrounding community—to which it has committed an additional $300M on top of stadium costs, Curbed reports.
AECOM also designed a 29,000-seat stadium for Florida Atlantic University in 2012, but Moody Nolan has been tabbed to lead the design, according to a statement by Temple's president. [Curbed]
