Ensign Group has acquired a skilled nursing facility in Washington state and two skilled nursing facilities in Utah for unspecified prices. The Washington property is the 69-bed Bainbridge Island Health and Rehabilitation (pictured). The Utah facilities are the 63-bed Wasatch Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Ogden and the 130-bed St. George Rehabilitation in St. George. These are the latest acquisition deals for Mission Viejo-based Ensign, which has bought facilities in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Nebraska and Texas this year, reports the Orange County Business Journal. Ensign now operates 150 healthcare facilities (owning 25 of them) and 45 home health care, hospice and urgent care agencies and clinics. [OCBJ]
