Irvine: No. 4 Nice on Naughty-and-Nice List

There’s naughty and there’s nice—just ask Santa. Or RealtyTrac, which reported recently that Irvine is the country’s No. 4 “nicest” housing market, based on its low unemployment rates, low foreclosures, high education scores, low crime stats and few sex offenders per capita. Ranking ahead of Irvine were Cary, NC; Fairfax, VA; and Pearland, TX (near Houston). The bottom three “naughtiest”--opposites in all those metrics: Milwaukee, Detroit and Stockton, CA.
