This year, the New York City borough of Queens was thrown into the national spotlight when Amazon decided to build a new headquarters there — and then infamously bailed on the deal.
But Queens had seen significant development well before the tech giant showed up, and is continuing to experience enormous change. Said to be home to one of the city’s most diverse populations, Queens has attracted significant investment across the real estate industry in recent years.
In Long Island City, for example, there has been a flood of new rental development. In Flushing, Queens, a 1.2M SF mixed-used development from F&T Group is underway.
