Nike Buys Out Google Lease at New Durst Tower

Nike has accepted Google's lease buyout offer and will head to a new tower being built by the Durst Organization at 855 Sixth Ave (rendering shown) early next year. The 11-year lease is for 147k SF in the 42-story mixed-use development, which will have 570k SF of office, retail and residential space. Nike will anchor the office space, taking up a portion of the second floor and all of floors three through six, CoStar Group reports. The athletic wear giant's new digs will also feature an exclusive 15k SF outdoor roof deck. [CoStar]
