Live Nation To Lease 100k SF In Meatpacking District

Live Nation, the parent company of Ticketmaster, is moving from Times Square to a former parking garage in the Meatpacking District.

The firm has agreed to sublease the 100k SF 430 West 15th St from Palantir Technologies, which committed to lease the space in 2014, is subleasing it to the ticket company, The Real Deal reports. The building, converted in 2012, is controlled by TIAA in a ground lease that runs through 2113, which the insurance giant acquired from Atlas Capital Group and Rockpoint Group in 2015.

Live Nation currently holds the lease on all of the 230k SF 220 West 42nd St. It's yet another company that is taking a lease in Midtown, at one point the most desired office address in the country, and moving to the West Side. [TRD]
