Rendering Revealed: JDS’ Latest in Brooklyn

Plans have been in the works for JDS Development’s 44-unit mixed-use project at 613 Baltic St in Park Slope since at least summer 2014. The first renderings popped up in February.

Now another set of renderings by VOA Associates is seeing the light of day, thanks to NY Yimby. When it’s done, the project will have 3,365 SF of retail and 2,150 SF of community space. It’s being called Baltic (how’d they come up with that name, we wonder?), and sales are scheduled to launch early next year, with a completion date in 2017.

If you go by the site now, you’ll still find four three-story townhouses, which’ll have to come down before work starts on the 11-story building. [NYY]
