Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo (pictured) has just nabbed a loft at the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue for $18.5M from one of Trump's business partners, Italian real estate magnate Alessandro Proto. Word is Ronaldo may be considering joining an MLS team when his contract is up in 2018, but it's been previously reported that he would likely land in Los Angeles, reports the New York Post. Now, the purchase of this 2,509 SF has many wondering if NYC could be his destination. The 30-year-old athlete closed on his new home on Wednesday. [NYP]
