Bed-Stuy to Receive 24 New Apartments

Permits have been approved for a 24-unit apartment building at 1044 Bedford Ave (above), just east of Clinton Hill, reports Curbed. According to renderings by AB Architekten, the site, which used to house a two-story structure demolished in 2013, will now be home to a 16k SF eight-story building with apartments averaging 681 SF each. The minimalist gray building features floor-to-ceiling windows, an asymmetrical façade and a sixth-floor setback for a sizable terrace. Devhop purchased the site for $2.4M last year from 1044 Bedford Realty, the developer of the plans. Delivery is slated for 2016.
