All Year Management has finally unveiled its plans for the massive assemblage it's built up in Bushwick over the last two years.

The project, called Bushwick II, will be a 1M SF rental complex with roughly 900 units connected by a bewildering array of courtyards and common spaces

The project spans two city blocks, and is bounded by Stanwix and Melrose streets and Evergreen and Flushing avenues. Roughly 20% of those units will be affordable, The Real Deal reports.

The complex’s 60k SF roof will feature an urban farm and recreational space, and an 18k SF park will fill the center of the project.

“By interrupting the rigid order of a typical NYC street grid and blending it with the sequencing of a European village,” says ODA founder Eran Chen in a statement obtained by TRD, “the path becomes a meandering courtyard rather than a direct line from A to B.”

Yoel Goldman’s All Year Management bought the first half of the assemblage, 123 Melrose St, from Princeton Holdings’ Joseph Tabak and Read Property Group’s Robert Wolf back in November for $68.5M. In April, All Year purchased the adjacent 28 Stanwix St from the same sellers for $72M.

In a sign of the times for up-and-coming Bushwick, the project is just a stone’s throw away from another boundary-pushing apartment project, The Rabsky Group’s 10 Montieth St. [TRD]
