Wilfred Realty Corp filed applications for an eight-story, 190-unit, 174k SF mixed-use complex at 1880 Bathgate Ave (pictured) in the West Bronx.
Designed by SLCE Architects, the project will have two eight-story components—one along Bathgate Avenue and the other along Firefighters Boulevard—22k SF of retail space and 2,460 SF of community space, according to NY Yimby.
The residential units will average 786 SF each, and are expected to be below-market-rate rental units.
Wilfred Realty owns a 36k SF assemblage of single- and two-story warehouses at the site, and filed permits to demolish the properties last month. The site sits three blocks away from the Tremont Metro-North station on the Harlem Line. [NYY]
