The Downtown Skyline Could Change Yet Again

A mixed-use tower at 45 Trinity Pl could have over 1M SF and come in at 80 stories or more. Trinity Church had 600k SF of unused air rights and sold most of them to the developer, Trinity Place Holdings. Studio C Architects produced a preliminary design for the site and tells NY YIMBY that the design they’re working on might not be what gets built. The plan as it stands calls for a two-story retail space, three floors that’ll house Department of Ed offices, a seven-story hotel, and residential space for everything above the 12th floor.
