After languishing on the radar of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Committee for 25 years, the dilapidated Yuengling Brewery complex in West Harlem could soon be replaced by a brand-new 12-story commercial and community facility.

Janus Property Co has filed demolition plans to develop a 194-foot-tall building at 460 West 128th St, NY YIMBY reports. Spanning 428k SF, the building's first floor will have retail, and the remaining 11 would be devoted to medical facilities and offices.

Janus already has a formidable track record of working with old properties in Harlem. The developer, which is also headquartered in the neighborhood, recently refurbished the five-story Mink Building into artist and nonprofit space. It's also constructing a new 11-story office tower to be named the Taystee Building on the former site of Taystee Bakery.

HOK, a Bryant Park-based architecture firm currently working on a 21-story condo at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 86th Street, will design Yuengling's replacement. [NYY]
