Icon Realty Management has submitted plans for a 30-story, 438-foot tower at 301 East 80th St after demolishing six pre-war tenements on the property.

Icon—which is also planning a 14-story, 12-unit property at 1562 Second Ave—paid $45M for the properties, plus an additional $3M for air rights last year, NY Yimby reports.

The tower is expected to have 63 units across 200k SF of residential space, with units averaging about 3,168 SF. The plans also include a 9k SF ground-floor retail space.

The building’s lower floors will include a basketball court, a yoga room, a gym, a children’s playroom, a game room, a lounge and other amenities.

The property is expected to flourish when the Second Avenue Subway opens in 2017. [NYY]
