Billionaire Sells Former Playboy Club

Green Oak Real Estate and Capstone Equities are buying the former Playboy Club (where Debbie Harry and Gloria Steinem both worked as bunnies) at 5 East 59th St for $85M, or about $1,700/SF. The seller is Groupo Victor Malzoni, a Brazilian investment group led by billionaire Paulo Malzoni. Playboy owned it until 1982.
