In what doesn't exactly come as a surprise, NYC is home to the most top-rated hotels in the country, a US News & World Reports says. The 210-room Park Hyatt New York topped the list of 2,593 luxury hotels.
The rankings come from a combination of guest reviews, hotel class ratings and reputation among travel experts, the New York Daily News reports.
Traveling animal lovers relish their time in the Big Apple—NYC also hosts two of the top 12 pet-friendly hotels in the country, the Greenwich (third overall) and the Mark (ranked 16th). [NYDN]
