SPOTLIGHT: The REITs Have It!

Doug says healthcare REITs have had unprecedented access to capital and are taking advantage of low borrowing rates. These REITs are getting large with market caps from $10B to $15B, so they like largeportfolios that move the needle. New supply continues to be at a historical low, but local banks are more willing to provide construction financing, so experienced investors can put shovels in the ground.
