Yesterday, YM/WREA's luncheon at the University Club was bittersweet for Larry Silverstein (bottom center, with the association's board), as he was supposed to keynote the same luncheon on 09/11/01. Although somber, he came back with an uplifting look at the WTC and Downtown rebuilding: Tower One continues its steel work; the structure for the memorial is in place; and, Tower Four is under construction. Potential office tenants are sitting down to talk about future needs, while Downtown's residential and retail markets are rapidly growing and positively changing the face of the neighborhood.
