REBNY Forms Brooklyn CRE Brokerage Committee

In yet another example of Brooklyn’s exploding importance as a real estate hotbed, REBNY has formed a commercial brokerage committee for the Borough of Kings. It’s the first time REBNY has created a commercial committee for a specific borough. It will be chaired by Lee & Associates NYC principal Peter Levitan, and his No. 2 will be Sholom & Zuckerbrot EVP John Ritter. Members will include retail brokers, owner reps and other CRE Brooklyn insiders, according to GlobeSt. The plan is for the committee to gather, share intel and support the growth of commercial action in Brooklyn. Peter sees huge potential. “We have an opportunity to lay new groundwork that will encourage the kind of growth that benefits all the stakeholders in the borough,” he said. [GST]
