NEW YORK CARES HONORS WEISS

Congrats to Vornado SVP Glen Weiss—also chairman of YM/WREA—who was honored by New York Cares with its Corporate Community Outreach Award. (He’s here with his wife and New York Cares prez Gary Bagley, right.) Glen’s been a driving force behind New York Cares’ annual coat drive; for the second year in a row, he rallied the local commercial real estate community, collecting the most coats (1,394 total) for ’09. In the fall, he also organized a team of over 25 real estate professionals to make physical improvements to PS 199 in connection with New York Cares Day.
