HOK’s Chris Laul and Haworth’s Aret Lerien (front), Haworth’s Simon Speak and Nicole Freilich, and HOK’s Tom Polucci were among those celebrating the opening last week of Haworth’s redone showroom at 125 Park Ave. Chris, a fine artist on the side, provided 12 paintings for the opening week, some of which will then go to SoHo’s Gallery Juno, where Chris has an exhibition going up in May. His firm, which recently merged with BBG-BBGM, is designing HQ and education space at 80 West End Ave for United Cerebral Palsy of NYC and a medical school for SUNY Buffalo and just completed corporate interiors for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ in Newark and Starwood Hotels in Stamford.
