Also on Wednesday, Latham & Watkins partner Joshua Stein and Terra Capital Partners prez Bruce Batkin co-hosted a cocktail party (personally, not on behalf of their firms) at Grand Central Terminal's Metrazur, in honor of Melinda Katz, a candidate for NYC Comptroller. Melinda, a former NYC Council Queens rep and Weil, Gotshal M&A lawyer, says she is running as a moderate Democrat, favoring a balanced approach to development and policy goals, like landmark preservation and low-income housing. Her plans? Campaigning virtually nonstop until the September 15 primary. Give us some of your stamina!
