Breaking News: $475 Million Refi for SL Green; The Deal Sheet

This morning, SL Green announced it secured a $475 million refinancing for 1515 Broadway in Times Square. Known to some as Viacom's HQ, to others as home to the Minskoff Theatre, the building's former $625 million mortgage was due Nov. 10, replaced now by longer-term financing.
The new five-year, floating rate mortgage was provided by a syndicate led by The Bank of China that included DekaBank and Landesbank Baden-Wurttemberg. An SL Green/SITQ jv acquired the building in '02 and is on the tail end of a $40M capital improvement.
