Why did Invesco's Todd Bassen cross the road? For crepe cake, of course. On Friday afternoon, we passed him on Fifth Avenue and 43rd, on his way to Lady M Confections just south of Bryant Park. His wife, Dina, remembering how much he enjoys the crepe cake there, brought two slices home. But his daughter, Alana, discovered a similar love and ate his share. Todd's solution to having his cake and eating it, too: no more messing with slices. Buy an entire cake.
