The Former Revel Casino In Atlantic City, N.j.
In his monthly "Ask the Governor" radio show on 101.5 FM, Gov. Chris Christie called for developer Glenn Straub to sell the former Revel Casino in Atlantic City because Straub has not been able to reopen the property and has balked about going through the casino license application process, The Press of Atlantic City reports.
Straub has yet to apply for a license, arguing that he is leasing the casino to a third party. The state had denied his petition to waive the casino license requirement, and Straub has sued to appeal the decision.
The developer recently remarked that the Atlantic City property — now known as TEN — could open June 15, but he has already missed two self-imposed deadlines.
