Margot Bisnow's Book Launch!

A certain former editor here, Margot Bisnow, shown above with her son Elliott and husband, Mark, has a new gig: book author!

Her book is based on interviews with 60 top young entrepreneurs and their moms, from all across the country. She organizes her findings into 10 rules, and, in an easy-to-read style, weaves in the colorful stories of the entrepreneurs to illustrate them.

At some of her book talks across the country, Margot will bring with her entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs' moms she interviewed, who will join the conversation (admission is free). In DC on Aug. 31 will be the remarkable Jayne Plank, above with her son, Under Armour founder Kevin Plank. In LA on Sept. 8 at Brentwood’s Diesel bookstore, she’ll be bringing rapidly rising movie director John Chu, who’s done Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never, GI Joe, the Step Up series and Now You See Me 2. The book is being published Sept. 1 by New Harbinger and is available for pre-order on Amazon and Barnes & Noble and your favorite independent bookstore. Profits will go to charity to help low-income families learn about entrepreneurship.
