Interactive Dining Tables Take Food Courts To The Next Level

Coming soon to a mall food court near you: interactive dining tables that aim to shift your attention from your smartphone to offline mall activities.

Designed by Kodisoft, whose CEO, Dmitry Kostik, is seen above, these four-seat, interactive tables have a 4K ultra HD display, unlimited multi-touch ability, and a “practically unbreakable” diamond glass protective screen.

Shoppers can access lifestyle content and “retailtainment” features, browse store catalogs, order/reserve products for pickup, and get wayfinding directions based on proximity. The goal, says Kodisoft, is to enable the redirection of mall foot traffic back to its key purpose: driving on-premise sales.
