DC entrepreneurs must be doing their own version of Pharrell Williams' "Happy" video. According to a recent survey of 124 Entrepreneurs’ Organization members in DC, at least 66% of them say they have plans to hire full-time staff in the next six months. A whopping 75% say they expect a net profit increase and 82% expect a revenue increase in the next six months. And 92% said they were willing to start a new business, compared to 84% of global respondents. DC chapter president and Red Thinking founder Jen Sterling says the mood of entrepreneurs has brightened after years of decline or stagnant growth. The chapter’s membership has also grown 20%.
