Acceleprise Expands Westward

Acceleprise announced this week it was opening a West Coast operation in San Francisco. Started in 2012 in DC by Sean Glass, the San Francisco program will follow a similar model of taking early stage companies through four months of mentoring, educational programming, intros to customers, and opportunities to meet early stage investors. For a $30k investment in the startup, Acceleprise asks for 5% of equity. The plan is to invest in 60 West Coast companies over the next three years. The DC program, which is considered the first independent accelerator focused on enterprise technology, has invested in nearly 40 companies.
