Those left longing for the days of VHS rentals, before the Blockbuster and Hollywood Videos of the world were shuttered, will soon be able to relive the cassette days of yore thanks to Austin-based Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

Alamo has been collecting VHS tapes for the past few years to build a selection of movies from the early 1980s to the early 2000s, with esoteric classics like "American Commando Ninja" and "Grim Prairie Tales," Bloomberg reports.

The chain operates 29 cinemas across the U.S. — with plans to add a new theater in Crystal City, D.C. — and has become a popular hangout due to its service-based program, which features waiters who deliver food and drinks during movies. The cinema also fiercely prohibits the use of talking and texting during film showings.

The chain plans to add to its services by opening a video rental store in its Raleigh, North Carolina, bar as early as February. The VHS rental fee has yet to be determined, Bloomberg reports.

Those who were too quick to toss the old VCR are also in luck, as Alamo will be renting those too.
