Red Bull Leases Regional HQ In Nashville

Red Bull GmbH, an Austrian company best known stateside for its energy drink, inked a lease for a regional HQ in Nashville. The company will take 2,300 SF at 600 Ninth Ave S. Red Bull's a booming brand; sales of the energy drink were just shy of $6B in 2015, a 6.1% increase from '14. As it's expanding its market share across the globe,  its footprint expands. In 2015, the company opened offices in its 168th and 169th countries, bringing it to 10,997 employees. There's no word yet on how many Red Bull will hire at the new Nashville location.

It's the latest lease for a building that was nearly empty when investors David Creed and Stan Snipes (who do double duty as SVN senior advisers) bought it recently. (They'll begin renovating it next month.) Now only about 2,800 SF remains to be leased, the Nashville Business Journal reports, and the two are eyeing a similar project in Berry Hill/100 Oaks. The architect on the project is Pfeffer Torode Architects of Nashville. [NBJ]
