Construction Nearing Completion On World's Largest Tilt-Wall In Houston

The world's largest manufacturer of heating, cooling and refrigerant products, Daikin Industries, will also soon be the occupant of the world's largest tilt-wall structure. The $417M manufacturing and logistics campus on the northwest side of Houston is opening this summer. Then, 4,000 employees will move into the 4M SF facility, and the 525k SF Goodman Global factory near Loop 610 and 290 will close, reports Realty News Report. (Goodman was acquired by Daikin in 2012.) Employees are also relocating from other Texas and Tennessee locations. [RNR]
