17-Year CBRE Veteran To Lead Firm's National Industrial Team

Chris Riley has been promoted to president of capital markets for industrial and logistics at Dallas-based real estate giant CBRE.

He replaces Jack Fraker, who will stay at CBRE to help with the transition, a representative told Bisnow. Riley, who has worked at CBRE since 2005, will remain in Atlanta, leading a 100-person national team. He previously served as vice chairman of CBRE’s Investment Properties Group in Atlanta, with a focus on capital markets for the industrial sector.

“Chris is a tremendous leader and strategist who will be focused on the continued growth of our entire Industrial and Logistics Capital Markets business, making sure we are custom-fit not only for today’s market, but for the future,” said CBRE Global President of Capital Markets Chris Ludeman, Global President of Capital Markets in a release.

Riley has been involved with more than 800M SF of North American industrial property deals valued at more than $50B, CBRE stated in a release.

CBRE was not able to tell Bisnow where Fraker might be going or what his compensation package will be upon leaving. It told CoStar that Fraker is transitioning to "the next chapter in his life and career."

Fraker told CoStar he will reveal his next steps later in the month. He is based in Dallas.
