President Donald Trump has a busy week ahead. While awaiting confirmation of his Cabinet nominees appointment from the Senate, he's moving full speed ahead with plans to issue executive orders that will pave the way for his trade and immigration policies.

That’s according to two White House officials, who said Trump is also planning to talk trade with British Prime Minister Theresa May when she visits this Friday, the Wall Street Journal reports. The groundwork for a possible deal with the UK could provide insight into how Trump’s administration will approach trade, especially considering he just formally pulled the U.S. out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership—a trade deal between 12 nations that former President Barack Obama negotiated.

Trump will meet today with congressional leaders to discuss promoting his policies and will attend a lawmakers’ retreat later this week. [WSJ]
