Retailers To Focus on Data Centers

The retail industry is in full recovery mode. But instead of solely adding stores, retailers will also be focusing on data centers, says Avison Young's CEO Mark Rose.(As long as they're not storing embarrassing photos of us trying on skinny jeans, we're fine with it.) We met with Mark during the recent International Council of Shopping Center's annual RECon event in Las Vegas. Mark says more retailers will be investing in data centers as they focus on online strategies, especially with Amazon.com "so close" to promising same-day delivery.
