DALLAS: Toyota HQ Bids Adieu to California

Toyota is packing up the trunk, relocating its North American HQ from Torrance, Calif., to the Dallas suburb of Plano in the next three years. It will bring 4,000 jobs with it. Details were scarce, but the brokerage community tells us Toyota plans to buy more than 50 acres and break ground this fall on a 1M SF (or larger) build-to suit project.
