Cushman & Wakefield's chief accounting officer, Len Texter, is resigning from the company, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Wednesday, "in order to pursue a new opportunity."

On Sept. 30, Neil Johnston — currently Cushman & Wakefield's chief financial officer — will take over the role of head accounting officer as well, the filing says.

Texter, who is also the company's head of investor relations and global controller, joined Cushman & Wakefield in early 2019. He became chief accounting officer in 2020, replacing Duncan Palmer, who retired that year as chief accountant and chief financial officer.

Eight months ago, John Forrester became the company's CEO after the retirement of Brett White, though White remains executive chairman.

In August, Cushman & Wakefield reported revenue of $4.9B for the first half of 2022, an increase of 18% and from the first half of 2021. In its second-quarter report, the company said that its growth continued across all segments and service lines, led by the Americas.

Also last month, the company turned over around 36,000 documents to the New York Attorney General's office, which is investigating business dealings by The Trump Organization. Cushman & Wakefield had previously been held in contempt after the attorney general's office stated it had failed to turn over subpoenaed documents.
