Colony, NorthStar Realty And NorthStar Asset Management Discuss All-Stock Combo

Colony Capital and NorthStar Realty Finance are in exclusive negotiations about a possible combination with commercial real estate manager NorthStar Asset Management Group.

The three companies are discussing an all-stock combination based on historic trading prices, Bloomberg reports. NorthStar Asset Management Group is worth $2.3B while NorthStar Realty Finance is valued at $2.4B, based on Friday’s stock prices.

NorthStar Asset Management was spun off from NorthStar Realty Finance in 2013 and manages real estate holdings worth nearly $40B, according to its website. [Bloomberg]
