Cologix Minneapolis Inks SingTel Deal

Singapore Telecommunications just signed on to deploy point-of-presence with Cologix's Minnesota data center at The 511 Building to feed its virtual private network. Cologixs Mike Hemphill says SingTel likely chose Minneapolis because The Twin Cities housemore than 20 Fortune 500 companies and dozens of Fortune 1,000 companies, many with international operations. Cologix acquired The Minnesota Gateway data center last year, and the facility is now at 80% capacity. We certainly will look at expansion," he says.
