Saint Thomas Health To Develop New Ambulatory Center

Saint Thomas Health is planning a two-story, 30k SF ambulatory center project for the northeast corner of Murfreesboro and Hobson pikes in Antioch on a 4.6-acre site within the Murfreesboro Pike Urban Design Overlay District. The Metro Planning Commission will consider a request for final site plan approval for the project next month.

Memphis-based Belz-McDowell Properties owns the vacant commercial land where the ambulatory center is planned, the Tennessean reports. Saint Thomas has similar projects underway at Lenox Village in south Nashville, Brentwood, Mount Juliet and on New Salem Road in Murfreesboro. The project would offer primary care, lab services, diagnostic imaging, and medical specialties such as orthopedics and cardiology. [Tennessean]
