New Rendering Of $700M DTLA Mixed-Use Project

New renderings have just been revealed for a proposed $700M mixed-use development at 1020 S Figueroa St in DTLA.

The project from Shenzhen Hazens Real Estate Group would include three high-rise buildings with 650 condos, a 300-room W Hotel and about 80k SF of retail space. It would be built in two phases on 2.7 acres, according to Urbanize LA.

The W Hotel would occupy a 32-story building on the Figueroa side of the property while the condos would be in another 32-story building on Flower Street. Gensler is the architect. The second phase adds a 38-story residential tower at the corner of Olympic Boulevard and Figueroa Street.

Construction would begin in 2017. It is scheduled to be completed by 2020. [ULA]
