Ivy Station, a mixed-use development that may be built on five acres next to the Metro Expo Line Station near downtown Culver City got rave reviews from some LA City Planning commissioners last week.
The LA Planning Commission voted Thursday to approve permits and environmental review documents for the project, which would be built at the intersection of Washington, Venice and National boulevards.
The project would have a five-story office building with 210,445 SF, a six-story apartment building with 200 units, a six-story hotel with 148 rooms, and retail and restaurants on the ground level of all the buildings, according to Curbed.
Lowe Enterprises SVP Tom Wulf tells Bisnow Ivy Station offers a rare opportunity to create an integrated development with a mix of residences, offices, restaurants, retail shops and a hotel at an EXPO light-rail transit stop on the Westside.
Tom says it will be "the new gateway to Culver City, with inviting open space and a variety of entertainment options" for those who work and live in the area.
The project has already been approved by the City of Culver City. LA must give final approval. [Curbed]
