Hollywood Proper Hotel
While Hollywood Proper Residences recently opened, a Santa Monica Proper also will soon be built.
The Kor Group, founded by Brad Korzen, is developing the hotel. Korzen is the founder and former CEO of the Viceroy Hotels. His wife, Kelly Wearstler, focuses on the interior design of the properties.
The Santa Monica Proper Hotel will be in downtown Santa Monica at Seventh Street and Wilshire Boulevard, Curbed reports.
It will be in a new development built around the Santa Monica Professional Building.
Kor Group will be working with Santa Monica's Howard Laks Architects on the project.
There is also a Downtown LA Proper being built at the old Case Hotel building. [Curbed]
