A major expansion is coming to Westwood's Hammer Museum.
It will now extend into the bottom five stories of the Occidental Petroleum Tower on Wilshire Boulevard, which UCLA purchased last year. In addition to gallery space, there will be a museum store and a new lobby, Curbed reports.
Architect Michael Maltzan will design the new space.
There's no funding in place for the project yet, but it is expected to be completed by 2020. [Curbed]
