ONE WTC, EMPIRE STATE HAPPENINGS

While we’re talking about One WTC, did you know that it reclaimed the title of the tallest skyscraper in NYC after surpassing the Empire State Building by 21 feet on Monday? Ironworkers installed two 26-foot interior columns on the building, bringing its height to 1,271 feet (only 505 feet more to go). But no reason for the Empire State Building to be bummed: it just nabbed a 120k SF expansion with Coty, bringing the beauty tenant’s total footprint to 320k SF. Congrats to Cassidy Turley’s Richard Bernstein and Ralph Giordano, who repped the tenant, and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Billy Cohen and Ryan Kass, who repped owner W&H Properties.
