Great Portland Estates Teeing Up Sale Of Facebook HQ

German fund Deka is in talks with Great Portland Estates to buy the new headquarters for Facebook for around £450M. However, other parties are also interested in One Rathbone Square and no deal is certain yet, according to Estates Gazette.

Last year, Facebook signed a 15-year lease for the entire 227k SF office space, agreeing to a rent of £16.9M or £74/SF. The building, due to complete in February 2017, is near the future Crossrail hub at Tottenham Court Road.
