Industrial Development Will be Back

The region might be battered now, but Dermody Properties’ Eugene Preston, who recently joined the company as the partner managing at the firm’s Eastern region office in West Conshohocken, tells us that the fundamentals haven’t changed, and that industrial development will occur in the not-too-distant future. "Focusing on the East Coast, we’ll see development in select markets that serve a large consumer base, like Eastern Pennsylvania and Central New Jersey,” he says. “Also, Northern New Jersey, Baltimore, and Miami will continue to see redevelopment projects due to aging inventories and limited land availability." (Plus a sudden need for snow shovels.)
