Incubating tech companies to grow out of co-working and into real office space — in Houston, that is not a fantasy. Arundo Analytics, a software company enabling advanced analytics in heavy industry, is moving to a 5,400 SF space at 1600 Smith St. in Downtown Houston from its previous offices at Station Houston.

The company will continue to maintain a presence and membership with co-working group Station Houston.

“Arundo is a proof point that Houston startups can build great teams, raise significant amounts of capital and create awesome software,” Station Houston co-founder and CEO and chair of the Mayor’s Innovation Task Force John Reale said.

The building at 1600 Smith, previously known as Continental Center I, is owned and operated by Brookfield Properties. CBRE's Bill Boyer advised Arundo.

“Arundo has been a part of the Station Houston community since its inception, first at the original Midtown location and then in the 1301 Fannin office. As we looked at options to expand our footprint, we were pleased to find space in an iconic Downtown building near the current Station location,” Arundo Chief Operating Officer Stuart Morstead said.

On the heels of its recent $25M funding round, Arundo is growing. Besides its Houston expansion, the company has offices in Palo Alto, California, and Oslo, Norway.
