Spear Street Capital Taps JLL To Lease Galleria-Area Office Building

Spear Street Capital has selected JLL to handle the leasing of a 275K SF office building at 515 Post Oak Blvd. in the Galleria/Uptown area. The property, purchased in January 2017, is 81% leased with a range of tenants, including law, energy, technology and professional service firms.

“Spear Street is an outstanding owner who has demonstrated an exciting commitment to Houston,” JLL's Bubba Harkins said in a release. “We look forward to partnering with them to build on the strong performance of this asset.”

The 12-story office building includes conference facilities, a fitness center, on-site management and access to Houston’s Memorial Park.

The Galleria office submarket is the only office submarket in Houston to decrease in vacancy, to increase in asking rent and to decrease in sublease space, according to JLL research.

JLL’s Russell Hodges and Harkins will lead the marketing and leasing efforts on behalf of Spear Street Capital.
